Mission Statement
A progressive, humanist journal dedicated to the importance of word and image and their inherent power to illuminate the lives of human beings, both individually and collectively. We stand firmly committed to honest expressions of thought, culture, history, politics and artistic endeavor.
Though our interests run far afield, we call the Left Bank of the Charles River our home and our perspective reflects that distinct vantage point.
Dedication
This inaugural issue of the Left Bank of the Charles Review is dedicated to the memory of Dr. Suzanne Eaton, 1959-2019, scientist, pianist, inquisitive mind, and kind and empathetic human being.
